Terms of Service

Last updated: April 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using the AfriRegions website (afriregions.com) or installing the AfriRegions plugin, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use our services.

2. Plugin License

Free version: The free version of AfriRegions is licensed under GPLv2 or later. You may use, modify, and distribute it according to the GPL license terms.

Pro version: The Pro version requires a paid license managed through Freemius. Each license is valid for the number of sites specified in your plan (1, 3, or 50 sites). The license is billed annually and includes updates and support for the license period.

3. License Terms

  • Each WordPress installation requires its own license activation
  • Licenses are non-transferable between different owners
  • You may not redistribute the Pro version or share license keys
  • If your license expires, the plugin continues to work but you lose access to updates and support
  • You may renew an expired license at any time

4. Refund Policy

We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on all Pro plans. If you are not satisfied with the plugin for any reason, contact us within 14 days of purchase for a full refund. No questions asked.

Refunds after 14 days are granted at our discretion on a case-by-case basis.

5. Support

Free version users can seek help through the WordPress.org support forum. Pro license holders receive priority support via our contact form. We aim to respond within 24-48 hours on business days.

6. Plugin Usage

AfriRegions is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do our best to ensure compatibility with the latest versions of WordPress and WooCommerce, but we cannot guarantee compatibility with every theme, plugin, or hosting configuration.

You are responsible for:
  • Backing up your site before installing or updating the plugin
  • Testing the plugin in a staging environment before production use
  • Ensuring your server meets the minimum requirements (WordPress 5.8+, WooCommerce 6.0+, PHP 7.4+)

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, WoonetDigital shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of our plugin or website. This includes but is not limited to loss of revenue, data, or business opportunities.

8. Website Usage

You may not:
  • Use our website to send spam or malicious content through the contact form
  • Attempt to exploit, hack, or compromise our website security
  • Scrape or harvest content from our website without permission
  • Impersonate AfriRegions or WoonetDigital in any communication

9. Intellectual Property

The AfriRegions name, logo, and branding are the property of WoonetDigital. The geographic data included in the plugin (regions, cities, neighborhoods) is sourced from publicly available data and is provided for use within the plugin only.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable international commerce laws. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first.
